Dear Mr. Atanasoff,
Please, accept our deepest regards as being the son of John Atanasoff.
We are The Bulgarian Computer Society "John Atanasoff". We are as well TANGRA TanNakRa All Bulgarian Foundation. We work together with leading scientists from BULGARIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES and SOFIA STATE UNIVERSITY to promote knowledge on ancient Bulgarian civilization. This is reflected in a number of editions, published by the foundation.
In contemporary aspect we find the universal achievements of your father, the great John Atanasoff - the Father of the Computer as a brilliant expression and emanation of Bulgarian creative spirit.
We intend to organize the construction of a John Atanasoff Memorial in Sofia[…] We have paid the Iowa University for the film "…from one John Atanasoff" in order to propagate it in Bulgaria. We want to translate and edit books about your father. Every piece of written or visual information will be useful […]
In all this we would be glad to have your moral support.
Best regards,
