Scientific forums :

1. In April 1998 in Sofia University was held a conference for students on the theme "Ancient Bulgarians up to 681 A.D. (Origins, History and Culture. The History of Volga Bulgaria)".

2. In December 1998 in Sofia University was held a conference for researchers and higher institutes' professors on the same theme.

3. In February 1999 there was organized a conference for teachers, together with the Union of the Bulgarian Teachers and Sofia University on the theme "Teaching History under New Conditions".

4. On 24th April 1999 there was organized a scientific conference for students, young researchers and teachers on the theme "Origin, Culture and Diaspora of the Ancient Bulgarians till the End of the 7th century", together with the Union of the Bulgarian Teachers and Sofia University.

5. On March 22, 2003 at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridsky” was held a round table: “The Horseman from Madara and the Beginning of the Bulgarian Statesmanship in Europe – 165 AD”.

6. TANGRA TanNakRa All Bulgarian Foundation organized (March 18 – 19, 2005) scientific conference with participation of reports by scientists from abroad – the Chuvash Republic (the Russian Federation). The theme was "The Bulgarian Statehood in Europe facing its 20-th Century (165 – 2005)". Co-organizers were the Institute of History (The Bulgarian academy of Sciences), The Faculty of History (Sofia University), The Institute for Balkan Studies, The Shumen University, The Veliko Tarnovo University, etc. President Georgy Parvanov, patron of the conference, made a speech at the opening ceremony in the presence of foreign diplomats.
