In brief :
The historian should cherish his unachievable dream - to touch the limits of the
objective historical truth or at least to approach it as much as possible. Truth
is one. It could not possibly be Bulgarian, or Serbian, or Greek, or Rumanian,
or Turkish, etc. despite the frequent transmutations of some researchers. The
authors of this book make profound analysis and a well-grounded criticism of well-known
and more recent 'distortions' and 'falsifications' of Bulgarian history. They
defend not only 'their' truth but also the pursuit of the historic truth. This
is a book which we need in order to know how the others abuse our history.
